About Madd Maker

There has always been a little bit of a “Madd Scientist” in Tim. Long before there was a Madd Maker Designs, Tim was an artisan and a maker. Throughout his life, he has enjoyed working with his hands, experimenting with ideas, figuring out how things work, and turning an idea in his head into something real.

That creative process—and the way Tim can become completely immersed in a project—is exactly where the name Madd Maker Designs came from. Give him an idea, some materials and a challenge, and the “Madd Scientist” goes to work.

Today, Tim combines that lifelong creativity with modern technology and traditional hands-on craftsmanship. His pieces may begin with an idea and specialized equipment, but they come to life through the hours spent designing, painting, finishing, assembling and paying attention to the small details that make each creation unique.

A Special Connection to the Fire Service ... One part of Madd Maker Designs is particularly close to Tim's heart. As a volunteer firefighter for more than 10 years, Tim understands the traditions, brotherhood, sacrifice and pride that are part of the fire service. That experience inspired him to create pieces that do more than decorate a wall—they recognize the people behind the badge and celebrate a service he believes deserves to be celebrated more. From retirement and recognition pieces to memorials, department plaques and personalized gifts, Tim approaches each fire-service creation with respect for what it represents.

Made With Heart ... For Tim, one of the best parts of creating isn't simply finishing another project. It's knowing that something he made may become a meaningful gift, commemorate someone's career, recognize an accomplishment, honor a memory, or find a special place in someone's home. That's what he wants you to see when you receive a Madd Maker Designs creation.

Not something that came off an assembly line. Not just another plaque or gift. He wants you to see the thought, the time, the craftsmanship—and most importantly, the care and heart the Madd Maker put into creating something especially for you. That's the story behind Madd Maker Designs.

Made differently;

Made personally;

Made with heart.
